Measurements of tissue water content
Multiprobe MoistureMeterD
Measurement of tissue water content from effective depths of 0.5 to 5.0 mm below the skin surface

MoistureMeterD – Measurements for tissue water content and localized edema
Multiprobe MoistureMeterD is a unique instrument for the measurement of water content in biological tissues. It measures the tissue dielectric constant (TDC) of the skin and subcutaneous tissue non-invasively and locally in a few seconds. The tissue dielectric constant (TDC) is directly proportional to the amount of water in the tissue. The TDC value increases with increasing water content and edema.
Multiprobe MoistureMeterD is a CE marked medical device (CE0537). FDA clearance 510(k).

Benefits
- Highly sensitive measurement of water content and edema in skin and subcutis
- Totally non-invasive
- Fast and easy measurement
- Local measurements on virtually all areas of the body
- Probes for different measurement depths up to 5 mm
